Dermatology Made Simple

I am a board-certified dermatologist with years of experience treating complex dermatologic conditions. My practice, the Dermatology Center, is based in Orem, Utah, where I treat patients and manage the work of my three awesome physician assistants. I treat skin cancer using Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Image-Guide Superficial Radiation Therapy.

My approach is grounded in evidence-based medicine and clear communication.

My favorite part of my job is teaching others. I find it deeply rewarding to see patients arrive with questions and then leave with understanding and confidence. In a world flooded with information—much of it conflicting—it can be difficult to know what sources to trust, especially when it comes to skin health.

I created these educational resources to give patients and parents clear, honest, science-based information without hype or fear. The guides on this site are written by a practicing dermatologist and are based on current medical evidence—not trends or social media. My goal is simple: to help you make informed decisions and better understand your skin.
